The Torah (first 5 books of the Bible) is divided into weekly portions and read throughout the world in homes, congregations and synagogues. The reading schedule follows the one year cycle. Included are the suggested readings from the B’rit Hadashah (the New Testament).* A reminder that the Hebrew calendar begins at sundown on the evening before the date stated.

A booklet of the complete Weekly and Holy Days Parashah Readings is available at the Marketplace following the Shabbat Service each week during Oneg.

*The Weekly Parashah schedule is taken from The Complete Jewish Bible by Jewish New Testament Publications, Inc.
